Life Sketches and Experiences in Missionary Work of Minnie Sype

Minnie Sype (1869-1956). Pioneer, evangelist, pastor, administrator, missionary. She was born near Thayer, Iowa. At the age of 20 she married Loren Sype, a Seventh-day Adventist. She sold literature to neighbors and taught Sunday school in Wyoming, where she was an elementary school teacher. After her conversion to the Seventh-day Adventist faith, she often preached while her husband served as a singing evangelist. In one series 42 souls were won to Christ. The Oklahoma Conference granted her a ministerial license.
